ANINKA

STUDIES:

1983-86: B.A. Degree in Fine Art, University of Stellenbosch, Jewellery Design with Dieter Dill and Daniel Kruger

1988-89: Further studies at the Fachhochschule für Gestaltung Pforzheim with Jens-Rüdiger Lorenzen


AWARDS / DESIGNS:

1986: Intergold Award for best graduate in Jewellery Design, University Stellenbosch

1995: Red Dot Design Award, Design Centre Essen, Germany

1996: Designale prize by the Munich International Fair for double rings

1997: DESIGN PLUS prize of the Frankfurt International Fair for novel cufflink design

1999: Comprehensive design concept of pearl necklace 'Bubbles' (also known as 'Fynbosketting, 'Knospenkette', 'Frizzante') with earrings and rings. (Design protected by international patents)

Aninka played the baroque violin. As a member of various period instrument ensembles she performed and recorded internationally.

She tragically passed away in February 2014.
